Here's a little more about me

I live in Melbourne and love it here. I keep active by running and swimming, I love my cats to pieces (and want more), and I enjoy cooking.

Luke Myers

I have been a Graphic and Digital Designer for over 10 years, however I am currently taking the skills I have learnt during that time; along with my passion for continuous learning and transitioning my career to become a User Experience (UX) Designer.

I am driven to improve what I see; I channel that drive to improve the interactions and experiences we have with the human built world around us. I am an advocate for well-considered, simple design, that enables clear communication and provides human centred outcomes.

My Values

Continuous Improvement

Perfection is a myth, but as long as we seek continuous improvement and learning then we can always seek to do and be better.

Compassion and Empathy

If I had to name just one thing the Covid-19 pandemic has taught me, it is how much we need to show compassion and empathy for those around us. This applies in a broader sense too, not just in a crisis. It is important to take into consideration how others may experience or perceive things around them to help inform our own actions so we can be more understanding and inclusive.

Honesty and Integrity

I hold myself to the highest standard of honesty and integrity and expect the same from my family, friends, and others around me. With honesty and integrity our relationships can be underpinned with a solid foundation of trust and understanding that help us achieve amazing things together.

Passion and Dedication

I think it is a must to find passion in your life and for me that includes one of my earlier values, continuous improvement, this drives my professional life. On a more personal level, I am passionate about sustainability and care deeply about the environment that sustains us.

While you are here...

What website would be complete without some sort of Cat content? ...I know what you're saying, no site would be and you're right. So, here are some of my favourite snaps of my fluffy ginger girl named Carrots and her friend Chelsea.
